Sue Jamieson

Sue Jamieson, a consultant/trainer, operates The Highland Center for Health and Healing in Worcester, Vermont. She conducts private sessions with clients and facilitates group workshops in stress management, interpersonal skills, and self-improvement skills through a variety of methods and modalities.

Sue has a diverse background, having worked and taught in businesses, schools, retreats, and private settings for nearly forty years.

Sue holds dual degrees in Psychology and in Life Sciences Education from the University of Vermont.  She is certified in ‘Appreciative Inquiry: Igniting Positive Change in Business and Society’ through Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management, a program dealing with global issues of human health, the environment, peace, and sustainable economic development. Sue completed the ‘Learning to Listen Learning to Teach’ program at Woodbury College, Montpelier, Vermont, a program designed by Jane Vella for educators teaching adult learners.

Sue conducted wellness sessions with clients at The Highland Center for Health and Healing.   She sponsored Foundation for Shamanic Studies in beginning and advanced shamanism workshops since 1997 and her own Reiki Healing workshops and various shamanic intensives at The Highland Center for Health and Healing. From 2001 until 2013 as a private consultant she taught Silva Method Life System and Silva Intuition Training seminars at Green Mountain Coffee Roasters corporate headquarters in Waterbury, Vermont. She designed and taught two workshops, ‘Vision Board and the Law of Manifestation’ and ‘Manifesting Joy Through Appreciative Inquiry’, at the corporate headquarters of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters in Waterbury, Vermont, as well as, conducted guided visualizations for staff at Green Mountain Coffee Roasters and at Heritage Aviation in Williston, Vermont.

Sue is a shamanic practitioner, a Reiki master-teacher, a certified facilitator of Three-In-One Body-Mind-Spirit,  a certified Silva Method Instructor, and a certified Awakened Mind EEG Biofeedback practitioner.  She is a graduate of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies three-year advanced studies program,  a graduate of a two-year apprenticeship program to Brazilian shaman, Ipupiara Peixoto and his wife, Cleicha, a Peruvian shaman, and completed Sandra Ingerman's Medicine for the Earth practicum and her Soul Retrieval Healing Training.

At Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, New York, Sue was privileged to have been invited as a “wisdom keeper, master teacher, and shaman”  at ‘A Gathering of Wisdom Keepers, Master Teachers, and Shamans.’ The five-day gathering of shamans from around the worldwas dedicated to sharing sacred ceremonies and technologies with theparticipants to help embrace the times of change we are in.

She has taught as a guest teacher at Rowe Camp and Conference Center in Rowe, Massachusetts, at Lightgate Learning Center in Thetford, Vermont, at Woodbury College in Montpelier, Vermont, as well as, other various teaching engagements.

Sue is committed to teaching and to providing space and inspiration to tune into our innate tendencies toward healing, well-being, and transcendence.
